Poker Games
Poker is one of the most well known and most popular games in the world. Poker is an internet family of card games where players place wagers over which hand is better depending on the rules of that game. The object of the game is simple enough: get your hands into the pot before your opponent does. If you manage to get all your hands into the pot, then you’ve won!
To play, first, the player with the strongest five card hands face off against the player with the second strongest five card hands. Then, the player with the third strongest five card hands goes against the player with the second most powerful hands. And so on. Once each player has been dealt five cards, the person with the strongest five card hands is the “action” dealer, or dealt five cards face-up. The person with the lowest hand ranking after the action dealer is the “low card” hand.
Once all players have been dealt five cards, the person with the “action” dealer is the player with the “turn” and the person with the highest hand ranking becomes the “high card”. The player with the “low card” hands gets to act and the person with the “low card” hands gets to re-do their betting. In stud poker the player with the “low card” hands gets to act and the player with the “high card” hands gets to re-do his betting. If, for some reason, a player has an option between betting and re-playing the bet, he must always choose to bet.
A major part of stud poker hands is the use of wild cards. Wild cards are simply un-promoted cards that are taken from the deck without using any other cards. These cards are allowed to stay in play and may not be used in the same game as your “high card” or “low card”. Most often, the wild cards are dealt one at a time to players, without regard for rank. This means that a player may discard a card when it is “high card”, but may keep it when it is “low card”.
All bets, raises and calls are done before the deal begins. The highest numbered hand will be raised first, followed by the second highest numbered hand, third highest, fourth highest, fifth highest, sixth highest, seventh highest, eighth highest, ninth highest and tenth highest bids. After the highest bid has been called, each player in the table will receive four cards face up. The other two cards will remain in their clubs. After this, each player will receive their betting money, which is separated between them.
After all the betting has ended, the player with the most chips will win the match and the pot. Draw poker, on the other hand, is a completely different game. In draw poker, after the players have been dealt their cards, there is an “draw”. If a player has “drawn” a card, they must either pass the card to another player or lose the game. Thereafter, the pot will be dealt again and the players will each have to pass one card to another player, or lose the game.
